Short and elaborate, Karibu Kenya Safari will take you through the main wildlife attractions in Kenya. Starting from Aberdare National park in the central highlands of Kenya, then proceed down to the Great Rift Valley floor for Lake Nakuru National Park. Famous Masai Mara game reserves will be your final point as you head back to Nairobi for your departure back home.

Day one,Nairobi to Aberdare National Park

Karibu! – Welcome! You will be warmly welcomed with the Kenyan Signature smile upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta international airport. After short introductions and briefing, depart through the lush farmlands of the central highlands to the Aberdares. Arrive for your lunch at the Aberdares Country Club– the base hotel for your overnight lodge. After lunch, you will be transferred in a lodge shared shuttle bus to the Ark. Arrive for check in and dinner followed by an overnight of game viewing from the four viewing decks at the lodge. The Ark (LDBB)

Day Two,Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast at your overnight lodge, you will be transferred back to Aberdares Country club where you will retrieve your stored luggage and rejoin your driver guide. Drive up the moorland peaks and high forest making the Aberdares ranges. Descend into the Great Rift valley to Lake Nakuru National Park. After a sumptuous lunch at the lodge followed by a leisurely afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru is one of the alkaline Rift Valley lakes and a fantastic bird sanctuary, its shores populated at times by more than one million flamingoes. The famous ornithologist Roger Tory Peterson defined it as “the greatest bird spectacle on earth”. Other wild animals found in this park include the Rhino, Lion, Cheetah and the most elusive of the cats, the Leopard. All meals and Overnight at Nakuru Sopa Lodge (LDBB)

Day Three,Masai Mara Game Reserve

After an early breakfast, traverse the floor of the Great Rift Valley and ascend its western rim to the Masai Mara Game reserve. Red-clad with spears, Masai warriors tend their herds of cattle among the wildlife, admirably unmoved by the presence of large predators. Arrive for check in and lunch at your lodge followed an afternoon game drive in search of wildlife. Dinner and Overnight at the Ashnil Mara Tented Camp (LDBB)

Day Four,Masai Mara Game Reserve

Another day spent enjoying a full day game-viewing in the reserve with picnic lunch or go for an early morning game drive lunch at the lodge and an evening game drive. The Masai Mara is for many reasons the most spectacular game reserve in Kenya- a vast expanse of undulating grasslands and woodlands where it is possible to see over a dozen different species of game, including the Big 5!. Other optional activities available in the Mara include a visit to the local Maasai village where you get to learn the Maasai’s cultures and way of life or take an early morning balloon safari ending with bush breakfast (all at own cost & payable direct). All meals and Overnight at the Ashnil Mara Tented Camp (LDBB)

Day Five,Masai Mar to Nairobi and Depart
