Day one,Nairobi to Samburu Game Reserve

Upon your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta international airport, you will be met by our representative and after a short briefing proceed to the Samburu National Reserve. Rugged and remote, this wildlife reserve provides some of the best and most colorful game viewing in the country. Samburu is inhabited by a wide variety of animals, more so the rare species such as the long necked gerenuk, gravy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe and Beisa Oryx. Other animals include the leopard, the mighty lion, elephants; crocodiles can be seen swimming in the Ewaso Nyiro River along with the hippo. All meals and overnight at Samburu Sopa (LDBB)

Day Two,Samburu Game Reserve

Day spent in the reserve which provides some of the best and most colorful game viewing in the country. The hot, dry, relatively low country that heralds Kenya’s vast northern deserts and semi-deserts is the traditional homeland of the Samburu people, who were drawn to this region by the reliability of the Ewaso Nyiro – northern Kenya’s biggest and least seasonal river, for watering their herds. The wildlife is plentiful here for the same reason – dozens of species of plains grazers and browsers gathering in the thick acacia and doum palm forest along the river banks to drink and seek shade. All meals and Overnight at Samburu Sopa (LDBB)

Day Three,Lake Nakuru National Park

Drive via Nyahururu to the Lake Nakuru National Park, famous as the home to thousands of lesser and greater flamingos. This park also provides sanctuary for Rothschild giraffe, rhino and leopard. Lake Nakuru is one of the alkaline Rift Valley lakes and a fantastic bird sanctuary, its shores populated at times by more than one million flamingoes. The famous ornithologist Roger Tory Peterson defined it as “the greatest bird spectacle on earth”. Other wild animals found in this park include the Rhino, Lion, Cheetah and the most elusive of the cats, the Leopard. All meals and Overnight at Nakuru Sopa Lodge (LDBB)

Day Four,Masai Mara Game Reserve

After an early breakfast, traverse the floor of the Great Rift Valley and ascend its western rim to the Maasai Mara Game reserve. Red-clad with spears, Masai warriors tend their herds of cattle among the wildlife, admirably unmoved by the presence of large predators. Arrive for check in and lunch at your lodge followed an afternoon game drive in search of wildlife. All meals and Overnight at the Mara Sopa Lodge (LDBB)

Day Five,Masai Mara Game Reserve

Another day spent enjoying a full day game-viewing in the reserve with picnic lunch or go for an early morning game drive lunch at the lodge and an evening game drive. The Masai Mara is for many reasons the most spectacular game reserve in Kenya- a vast expanse of undulating grasslands and woodlands where it is possible to see over a dozen different species of game, including the Big 5!. Other optional activities available in the Mara include a visit to the local Maasai village where you get to learn the Maasai’s cultures and way of life or take an early morning balloon safari ending with bush breakfast (all at own cost & payable direct). All meals and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge (LDBB)

Day Six,Lake Naivasha

Lake Naivasha is a diverse bird and animal habitat, with the lake itself supporting animals such as hippo and over 200 species of birds. Here the avid birdwatcher sees paradise in a vast array of exotic birdlife. This is the safari traveler’s place of relaxation and rejuvenation; a perfect blend of luxury and safari spirit. Day Eight,Amboseli National Park

Crowned by Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak, the Amboseli National Parks is one of Kenya’s most popular parks. The name “Amboseli” comes from a Maasai word meaning “salty dust”, and it is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. Nature lovers can explore five different habitats here ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with Sulphur springs, the savannah and woodlands.  They can also visit the local Maasai community who live around the park and experience their authentic culture. All meals and overnight at Amboseli Sopa Lodge (LDBB)

Day Nine,Nairobi and Departure

After a bubbly breakfast, you will depart for Nairobi, Kenya’s wonderful capital city. The name “Nairobi” comes from the Maasai phrase Enkare Nyirobi, which translates to “the place of cool waters”. However, it is popularly known as the “Green City in the Sun” and is surrounded by several expanding villa suburbs. Lunch on own arrangement, later depending on your departure flight timings you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back home.
