Package includes 2 nights at accommodation Victoria Falls Hotel, transfers to/from Victoria Falls Airport, Guided tour of the falls, Sunset cruise on the Zambezi River and Boma Dinner. Optional activities are not included.
Day 1: Arrive in Victoria falls, Zimbabwe
You are met and transferred from Victoria Falls Airport to Victoria Falls Hotel. It’s about 23km and takes 30 minutes.
1530hrs: In the late afternoon, you experience the Zambezi Sunset cruise which is one of our most popular activities and includes finger snacks, beer, wine, local spirits and soft drinks. The Zambezi Sunset cruise is a superb way to relax and enjoy the Spectacular beauty of the Zambezi River. There are great photo opportunities against often-spectacular African sunsets. Flocks of birds skim the waterline as the sun sets behind the African skyline.
Clients may have the opportunity to see a variety of game; including hippo, crocodile, and elephant as well as enjoy the many different bird species.
Day 2: Victoria Falls – Guided Tour of falls, the Boma Dinner
0900hrs: In the morning, a knowledgeable guide will take you on an unforgettable experience through the Victoria Falls rainforest, a journey that not only affords a view of one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World but provides a great deal of interesting facts about the geology, wildlife and history of Africa’s most famous landmark. Listen to magical tales of local legend while you enjoy the constant spray from the “The Smoke that Thunders”. Victoria Falls is a truly awe-inspiring experience – the sight, the sound, the smell; the humbling feeling that here indeed is Nature’s Supreme A path along the edge of the forest provides the visitor, who is prepared to brave the tremendous spray with an unparalleled series of views of the Falls. One special vantage point is across the Knife edge bridge, have the finest view of the Eastern Cataract and the Main Falls as well as the Boiling Pot where the river turns and heads down the Batoka Gorge.
Optional Activity – 1430hrs: In the late afternoon, you can opt to go for a Flight of Angels’. The “Flight of Angels” is an amazing journey over the 1700m vast curtain of water known locally as the “Mosi oa Tunya” (the smoke that thunders) and along the Zambezi River and the Zambezi National Park. Passengers are treated to an unforgettable helicopter journey comprising of 4 circuits (2 on either side) offering unrivalled spectacular views, photographic, and filming opportunities and putting the full breadth and height of The Falls into glorious perspective within the surrounding environment David Livingstone famously wrote on seeing the Victoria Falls for the first time in 1855 that “Scenes so lovely must have been gazed upon by angels in their flight”. The best way to appreciate the true splendor of the Victoria Falls is to view them from the air.
1900hrs: In the evening, immerse yourself in a feat of fun at The Boma – Dinner & Drum Show! The Boma – Dinner & Drum Show, located on the same resort, is a legendary dining and entertainment experience that offers an unforgettable fusion of mouth-watering local cuisine, spirited dance performances, interactive drumming and traditional storytelling. It has, over the years, firmly established itself as a Victoria Falls highlight, providing a unique cultural experience that bombards the senses with the tastes, sights and sounds of Africa. The four-course meal includes a delicious platter of starters, soup from the campfire, a barbecue buffet, where no plate is complete without the famous warthog “pumba” steak, followed by a smorgasbord of desserts.
Day 3: Departure from Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
